GIRLS SHOULD HAVE EQUAL ACCESS TO EDUCATION

"We strongly believe that No Girl should miss or drop out of school due to lack of sanitary pads and knickers. We were privileged to meet the girls in Asinge C a village in Tororo district in eastern Uganda . The Girls were supported with reusable sanitary pads which they can rely on for more than a year."

GIRLS IN RURAL UGANDA NEED TO BE SUPPORTED TO ATTEND SCHOOL DAILY

In many rural areas, parents tend to think that boys should be in schools while girls stay home doing house work or getting married off as soon as they begin their periods. At Kyobe foundation we strongly believe that all children should be supported to go to school so that they are able to realize their dreams and aspirations. Girls unlike boys are many times forced to abandon school due to many reasons including lack of sanitary pads, Teenage Pregnancy, menstrual pain, lack of guidance and lack of school fees as boys are paid for first.
